The convention will kick start on the first day with the theme, 'Resurgent South Asia'. The first plenary session will have four speakers representing the main South Asian countries - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. This will be followed by four speakers from the United States and East Asia (China, South Korea and Japan) for Plenary II. Speakers for Plenary Session III and Plenary IV will share their views on media and business respectively.

Day One will end with a gala dinner that will be graced by President S R Nathan. Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will be special guest.

The theme for the second day is 'Singapore: The Springboard for South Asia'. Mr Piyush Gupta (Chief Executive Officer, DBS Group Holdings and DBS Bank); Mr Ho Kwon Ping (Chairman, Singapore Management University); and Ms Chong Siak Ching (President and Chief Executive Officer, Ascendas Pte Ltd) will speak at the plenary session. This will be followed by a plenary session on technology and innovation. The day will end with a dialogue with Mr Lee Kuan Yew, which will be moderated by Professor Kishore Mahbubani (Dean, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore).

Delegates will also have opportunities for private networking sessions. On a lighter note, there will be a special session for foreign delegates to engage in an informal networking interaction at Singapore's latest attraction, ArtScience Museum, at Marina Bay Sands.
