ISAS Annual Reports

The year, April 2014/ March 2015,covered by this Annual Report, was eventful for both South Asia as well as for ISAS. For the region the two significant events that took place were the General Election in India and the Presidential Election in Sri Lanka. The GE in India brought to power the Bharatiya Janata Party with an epochcreating overall majority in the Lower House of Parliament. This was the first time in more than three decades that a single party was elected with an overall majority.
