As the 2024 general election unfolds, UP’s political significance remains high. This special report identifies three key challenges: restoring minority confidence, addressing development deficits, and protecting civil services from political interference, reflecting insights from a panel discussion organised by ISAS in 2022 on long-term change in UP.
