    Ramita Iyer

    Introduction

    Ramita Iyer graduated with a Master in International Affairs from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from Delhi University. She has a keen interest in South Asian politics and the intersection of policy and technology for governments and businesses. In addition to research at ISAS, Ramita also oversees and manages the social media, in particular ISAS podcasts.

    Ramita has been associated with several national and international organisations including India Health Action Trust and International Council of Jurists, since 2014. She has worked on issues relating to education, skills development and using technology to track commercial sexual exploitation of children, among others, with a public policy consulting firm based in Delhi. She has presented in many conferences, notably at the Global Public Policy Network Conference in London, United Kingdom and STI-HIV 2019 Conference in Vancouver, Canada. She co-designed and co-taught a skills workshop on value-focused negotiations aimed at Singapore-based diplomats, as well as conducted knowledge sharing interactive sessions for students of Delhi University.
