Mr Ng Yi Ming is the Managing Partner of Tribe Accelerator, Singapore’s first government supported blockchain accelerator. Tribe Accelerator is backed by some of the world's leading organisations including AXA, BMW Group Asia, Citibank, ConsenSys, Enterprise Singapore, EY, IBM, IMDA, Intel, Nielsen, PwC, R3, Temasek, Ubisoft and other partners to build up a neutral and hyperconnected platform to facilitate the mass adoption of blockchain technology.

Mr Ng also serves as an Entreprenuer in Residence at INSEAD, supporting promising MBA students with their entrepreneurship pursuits. He is also a Partner at TRIVE, an early stage Southeast Asia (SEA) focused venture capital firm based in Singapore. TRIVE invests in technology startups from Seed to Series A rounds of funding. Over the last 8 years, TRIVE has provided more than 1800 one-to-one advisory sessions, supported more than 900 startup founders and invested/incubated more than 60 startups in various domains including Deep Technologies, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Marketplaces and FinTech.

Prior to TRIVE, he was also previously part of the Regional Business Analytics Team at AIG, where he worked closely with insurance experts to lead innovative data driven solutions for implementation across Asia Pacific. He had a stint in Munich, Germany where he worked with Munich Re Group, the world’s largest reinsurer, to develop new cyber insurance strategy with the IDEO design thinking methodology. Prior to that, he was developing eCommerce strategy and planning at Alibaba-backed, Lazada.

During his military term, Mr Ng was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Outstanding National Service Fulltime (NSF) of the Year.

Mr Ng graduated with First Class Honours from Imperial College London and has attended Harvard University and Peking University.
