Mr Enayetullah Khan is the founder of Cosmos Group and WildTeam; co-founder of the Symphony of the Earth; and Board Member of the Paris-based Association for Accountability and Internet Democracy (AAID).

Mr Khan did his Master's in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka and briefly served there as a teacher. He has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University, New York and is an alumnus of the Georgetown Leadership Programme.

As a media entrepreneur he established the United News of Bangladesh (UNB), the first fully digitalized wire service in South Asia and is the founder editor of the ‘Dhaka Courier’ − a national newsweekly, Gallery Cosmos and CosmosAtelier71 − a printmaking studio. Apart from being an entrepreneur, he is passionate about promoting and preserving history and heritage. Mr Khan is also involved in environmentalism centering the Royal Bengal Tiger, and is an avid promoter of art and music.

Mr Khan is the author of The Bangladesh Sundarbans, on the world’s largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Bangladesh: Splendours of the Past, on Bangladesh’s archaeological heritage, and Boats: A Treasure of Bangladesh, on the dying art of boat making in Bangladesh and Bangabandhu: Epitome of a Nation.
